The Shire of Mountain Edge (Yamhill County, OR) invites you to the 2011 Kingdom Heraldic Symposium, an event hosted by the Shire in celebration of An Tir’s 30th year as the most glorious Kingdom in the Known World!

Pre-registration is NOT required but we encourage pre-registration for classes by email to Argent Scroll. The autocrats would much appreciate an email from attendees in order to plan the snacks and the light lunches (included in the site fee). Please advise the autocrats in that email of any dietary restrictions you may have. Allergen alerts: both sites have peanuts/peanut oil/peanut butter exposure “opportunities” and the Sunday site also has dog, cat, horse, sheep, and llama dander on site as well as a fine crop of summer grasses and late summer weeds.
Please contact the autocrats if you are in need of crash space for Friday and/or Saturday nights.
Community Center site opens at 9AM on Saturday 11/5 and closes at 6:00 pm on Saturday. Sunday site opens at 9AM 11/6 and closes at 5PM. Wireless Internet access is provided at Sunday site for heraldic consults/research.

Youth 12-17: $10.00
No fee for children 11 and under.

Saturday location: Newberg Community Center, 504 Second St., Newberg OR 97132
Directions to Saturday Site: From the North: take Rte 99W to Newberg. At the light at Hwy 219 north (also marked as College St.) turn left, cross northbound 99W, then turn right on Second Street. Community Center is one block on your left, public parking lot is on your right. Please do not park in the street except when dropping off supplies at the Center.
From the south take Rte 99W north to Newberg OR. Turn right on College St (where Hwy 219 is a left turn). Turn right on Second St. then proceed as above.
SCA signs will be posted.
Sunday location: The Dragons Den Farm, 23205 NE Mountain Top Rd., Newberg OR 97132
Directions to Sunday site: From Newberg take Hwy 219 north (College St.) (towards Scholls). Near the top of the mountain, turn left on Mountain Top Rd. and proceed 2.1 miles (keeping left at the fork with Jacquith Rd.) to the entrance (turn right) next to the white board fence on your right. SCA signs will be posted. If you see a sign for the Chehalem Mountain Pass (2272 ft) on Hwy 219 you have just missed the left onto Mountain Top Rd and will need to turn around by descending to the first driveways on your left and retracing your route uphill.
